        • Arrange Columns: Arrange columns by dragging the column headers as needed. Consider referencing a field mapping guide to correlate your spreadsheet columns with the appropriate Dragonboat fields. A recommended approach is to copy and paste one column at a time.

Note: Dragonboat does not support copy/paste method for dropdown custom fields. To do this, the user must:
1. Create Short Text custom field.
2. Import the drop down values into the Short Text custom field.
3. Search on the values in the Short Text custom field.
4. Bulk update the dropdown.

3. Visualize and Organize Your Roadmap:

If further adjustments to the mapping are necessary, you can use the Bulk Update or Delete features to manage multiple Portfolio Items. This enables you to make modifications and re-import items as needed. Here is a quick video showing the copy/paste method in action!

Importing from Multiple Sources

FAQs:

How can I prevent the column from re-sorting after copying and pasting the data when importing portfolio items from spreadsheets?

  1. Check to see if the column header is accidentally set to sort by clicking on any columns, e.g. Title column 3 times or until you don't see the up and down arrow, in order to remove any potential sort anywhere.
  2. Instead of using copy and paste, it could be easier to import portfolio items from a CSV file, assuming all fields are filled-in.
