Dragonboat can be integrated with Jira via Jira's oAuth API.
The integration is set up by a Jira admin.
Each idea in Dragonboat can be linked to an EPIC in Jira. It's a 1:1 mapping. An EPIC can't be associated with more than 1 idea. This is to avoid double-counting in reports.
To integrate with Jira, follow the step by step instruction on the Settings >> Jira page, (or find the detailed guide here)
You'd need Jira System Admin permission to perform the integration. Here is how to check whether you have this permission.
If you can't access the Jira setting, please find your Jira System Admin to complete the OAuth integration between Dragonboat and Jira. Contact us firstname.lastname@example.org or using the in-app help icon and we will be happy to walk through the integration.
If you use Jira Cloud, follow the steps below to see whether you have system admin permission.
If you use Jira Server / on-prem, please check to see whether you have Application admin access.
Linking Existing EPIC to a Dragonboat Idea by entering the Jira issue key, e.g. ENG-123, and click link Jira on the Idea lightbox
