The Customer page serves as your centralized hub for customer data management, enabling teams to review profiles, track engagement, and update records in one unified interface.
Similar to the Intake page in structure but tailored for customer-specific workflows, it provides editors with real-time insights and editing tools to maintain accurate data and inform strategic decisions.
Customer Page Overview
This list-style interface allows for efficient item management:
-
Inline Editing: Double-click any field to update values instantly
-
Customizable View: Select "Show Fields" (...) to display only priority columns
-
Bulk Operations: Use the "..." menu for CSV imports, bulk deletions, or merging* items
*Dragonboat automatically merges customers from integrated systems such as Salesforce and UserVoice into a single record, avoiding duplicates. If, for any reason, you encounter a duplicate customer record, you can manually merge them, selecting which customer records to merge and the record to keep:
Before merging, you may rename customer records for clarity. Once merged, Dragonboat prevents future duplicates by maintaining permanent links to both UserVoice and Salesforce source records.
Customer Drawer Overview
When opening a customer record, you'll find these key sections at the top-right:
- Details
- Edit core customer information (name, tier, notes)
- Data Fields
- Add external references like CRM Record URL
- Roadmap Items
- Visualize all work items linked to this customer
- Linked Requests
- Track feature requests associated with the customer
Limitations
The Customer page doesn’t support Custom Fields.
